MMS anchor 7.5mm - HECO SCHRAUBEN
MMS anchor 7.5mm - HECO SCHRAUBEN
Galvanized MMS anchor with 7.5mm diameter.
This screw is commonly ubsed for aid climbing or for the first exploration of a cave. Requires a 10mm wrench. The battery life of the hand drill is extended as the holes must only be 6mm wide and 5mm deeper than the screw.
This anchor is exceptionally strong when placed in solid karst.
The Multi-Monti system also differs from traditional permanent mechanical or resin anchors in that it can be easily unscrewed and reused up to 3 times in limestone or marble.
The first part of the Multi-Monti thread has serrated threads so that when screwed in, the anchor cuts into the material and creates the space for the rest of the screw. Unlike traditional anchors, the Multi-Monti system does not exert expansion pressure on the rock/concrete, reducing the risk of damage or breakage.
