Nondiscrimination Statement
The Cave Exploration Society Inc. does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, including paid or unpaid board members and executive leadership; selection of members, fellows and vendors; and offering of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, clients, volunteers (members and fellows), subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Member agreement
By submitting your application and annual membership fee, you the applicant, acknowledge that you are applying for membership, and membership is not guaranteed. You will not receive a refund if your application is denied.
Membership will last for 365 days from your application date or the anniversary of your application, whichever is later. Your membership can be terminated by you or by the Cave Exploration Society Inc. (CES) at any time and for any reason. You will not receive a refund if your membership is terminated.
If selected to be a member or fellow (member) of the CES, you agree to the following:
1.That the member desires to enter into a membership agreement with the CES and others, and to cooperate or participate in expeditions with them for the purpose of scientifically studying, and exploring cave systems of the world, encouraging and assisting in technical data collection for the betterment of humankind and the advancement of science and conservation.
2. To abide by the rules and regulations of the CES and to accept the leadership of any expedition leader appointed by the CES, or jointly selected by CES and other members, while on CES expeditions.
3. To use the CES as the exclusive agency to release news and publicity that the member may make while on CES expeditions.
4. Trip reports, survey notebooks photographs, and other expedition records, as well as products of this data, such as maps that the Member has created or appears in are the property of the CES, and that the Member will execute literary and photographic release upon request of the CES.
5. The member hereby acknowledges the inherent danger of underground exploration and research, and travel and assumes any and all risks arising out of the expedition; and further, hereby agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury which he, she or they might have against the CES and other members of the expedition by reason of its activities.
6. This agreement may be changed at anytime and for any reason by written notice of the CES. Written notice can be given via email or by posting on the CES’s website.
7. This agreement may be terminated by the member or the CES, by written notice. In the event of termination by either party or parties, the Venturer agrees that the promises and covenants made by him, her or them in paragraphs 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 shall remain in force for a period of two years from the date of termination.
8. Payment of your annual membership dues will be paid in full prior to your membership expiration. Nonpayment or late payment will result in suspension of membership and benefits, until full payment is made.
9. Annual dues are subject to change.
